QUEEN OF THE COURT

This afternoon, Cate and her team had their last scheduled futsal matches of the season. We drove over an hour to the Detroit suburb of Sterling Heights for what should have been a doubleheader. The first team backed out at the last minute, so we were disappointed to just have one match.

Once our girls took the court, they did not leave us wanting as they put on a show, winning 18-3. Cate completely bossed the game and scored seven or eight goals while setting up three or four more. Several of the parents marveled at her skills, dubbing her the Queen of the Court. I could not agree more.
