SNOWY DAY

One of the many adjustments we have made since moving to the Midwest is learning to handle winter weather. Today was a prime example after a night of several inches of fresh snow.

Our lawn folks normally handle plowing the driveway in the winter, but for some reason they did not arrive today. Undaunted, the kids and I took on this duty. 

With three sets of hands and two shovels and one broom, we knocked out the job in about 15 minutes. Well done, snow crew! Thank goodness we do not have sidewalks out front!
