We have been teaching Nicholas how to ride his bike for the past few weeks, and he has made tremendous progress as evidenced below. Nicholas is definitely someone who is goal-oriented, and he responds very well to a clearly spelled-out reward structure. Every time he practices riding his bike, he earns a sticker. When he gets 16 stickers, he gets a new "Thomas the Train" train. He has already received 2 new trains at last count.
Hopefully, by the end of the summer, we will be able to take bike rides around the neighborhood... if we can get him away from the train tracks that are sure to be filled with new trains! Enjoy!
